Toronto Gay Pride Funding

Last week I wrote several letters to my MP, the PM, and Minister Ablonczy objecting strenuously to the federal government decision to give $400k to Gay Pride week in Toronto. I received this nice bland letter back from the minister.

I want to thank you for sharing your views with me regarding the Marquee Tourism Events Program decision to fund Toronto Pride Week events. Your objections to this funding and your concern for the issues involved are duly noted. I truly appreciate your taking the time to contact me directly.
