After church we conducted another Love Ottawa! initiative. Members of Jubilee Church went downtown, to the Market area of the city, to hand out cold water, nutritious bars, and Bibles to people living on the streets—twenty-eight Bibles were accepted. We spoke to anyone who would listen about salvation through the work of the Lord Jesus Christ.
It wasn’t all pleasant. One fellow followed us insisting that he was God and yelling that we were spawn of the devil. But many were open to the gospel and receptive of our message. May the Lord give his blessing to this work.
