Harper
I'm not sure whether Harper misthrew the dice in a crapshoot or whether he is three moves ahead of the other guys. It's been said that Harper is playing chess while everyone else is playing checkers. Not so sure this time. When you see old Canadian war horses like Jean and Ed pull up at Parliament Hill, I think you need to adopt new metaphors. Someone has said that Stephen is playing chess while everyone else switched to full contact hockey. This week leading up to the vote on the Liberal motion of non-confidence will be interesting. It will also be interesting to see how the Governor-General exercises her constitutional responsibilities. My fervent hope is that Canada will be spared a Liberal-NDP-BQ government. That would quickly turn Canada into a country to flee from.
