This is ridiculous. I had a year-long dispute with 407-ETR about a bill (which, by the way, I won-- even without a lawyer). Under the new rules, my license plate renewal would have been disallowed because of money I did not owe.

Furthermore, this decision is something like allowing an outstanding bill at a health club prevent me from renewing my provincial medical insurance.
